Background
ContinYou, one of the UK's leading community learning organisations, commissioned Raspberry Frog to redesign their website to make it more user-friendly. ContinYou's website plays a key role in communicating with various audiences, and provides a wealth of up-to-date information about projects, news and events, and services.
Brief
ContinYou's website had become much larger and more complex. It had become difficult for visitors to find what they want. The existing design was text-heavy, did not reflect the dynamic nature of the site and the wealth of information and resources, and was not visually attractive to visitors.
The new website needed to help ContinYou engage with their target audiences by providing relevant, up-to-date and engaging content that was easy for visitors to access.
Solution
Raspberry Frog reviewed the website, identified key usability and accessibility issues and came up with imaginative but practical design solutions.
Raspberry Frog also reviewed the information architecture by using the Card Sorting technique with a representative sample of the target audiences.
Benefits
The look and feel of the website and the navigation have been improved to give a better user experience. The home page now is much livelier and is dynamically updated with the latest news and information.
