White Ribbon Association commissioned Raspberry Frog to design their new website. The website would be instrumental to bringing the charity into the 21st Century. The White Ribbon Association is the working name for the W.T.A.E.U. Ltd, a UK registered Charity. Established more than a century ago, it has been influential in a wide range of reforms including woman suffrage, equal pay, etc. Their aim is to promote the harmful effects of drugs, alcohol, smoking and gambling.

Brief

White Ribbon Association required a website that would raise the charity's profile, informing and educating children and young adults with wealth of online information.

The new website needed to help White Ribbon engage with the varied target audiences (children, young adults, parents and teachers) by providing relevant, up-to-date and engaging content that would be easy for visitors to access.

Solution

After conducting all the necessary research, Raspberry Frog devised a web strategy then came up with imaginative and practical design solutions aimed at engaging with both the young audience and the not so young (i.e. adults and teachers).

Benefits

The website complies to Level AA of the WCAG 1.0 and is Browsealoud-friendly and therefore can read aloud all website content to users such as people with Dyslexia, literacy and/or learning difficulties and users with a sight problem.
